Christopher Thornock’s work is about the everyday world around him. He observes and creates paintings

with inspiration from ordinary objects that surround his existence. Thornock’s initial choices are usually

aesthetic in nature and the initial concept comes from a visceral response to the subject matter, as he has a

desire to share what he sees. While working in a strict figurative style, Thornock sees his art as a way to

share the initial spark and the intense study afforded each subject.
